A deed restricted community of 73 single family homes in Sarasota County, Florida.

Englewood Isles, Unit #3, is a deed-restricted community, comprised of seventy-three single-family homes, in Southern Sarasota County, Florida. We are located within a Bird Sanctuary on the banks of the Windsor and Waterford Canals, and are one of several single family, condominium, and villa associations within the Englewood Isles Subdivision. There is also a Marina here, which is privately owned, but with membership open only to property owners within the several Englewood Isles Homeowners associations.

Our area was developed circa 1975 to meet the needs of winter residents and the retired community. Today we have grown into a more vibrant community, of primarily full time residents, including many professional and working families, and younger families with growing children.

Windsor and Waterford Canals provide direct boating access to 47 of our 73 members; and fully navigable waters -- one fixed bridge -- to Forked Creek, Lemon Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Boating is extremely popular -- fishing, cruising, family outings and day trips. There are also three public beaches available on Manasota Key, the closest being within a ten minute drive.
